Old work with FT2, Audiomulch, Reaktor, Cool Edit (mainly
XM-format, 4 tracks on traxinspace.com)

New work with FL3.11 (almost 2 cd's finished), MP3 format,
soon some tracks on the net!

Imagination is the most important thing in my music; almost
every track is totally different and I'm not stuck into 1 or
2 music-styles.

I use a cheap tape recorder and another double tape machine
that I operate manually (scratch, reverse, superimpose etc.
). A lot of cut/ edit stuff, a lot of found sounds
treatment. You don't actually need streamlined hardware/
software to make music. To make it good you have to be good.

that's true.
It's like this in good music:
It's the artist that makes it, not the equipment.

Anyone heard Peter Cusack? This avant/ improv type from
London, associated with Chris Cutler's ReR label. He is
currently making musick by just recording enviroment and
editing it. No Processing, no looping, no shit. Incredible.
Also Francisco lopez, this guy tapes nature sounds and lets
you hear them in a totally pure way. No references to
sources, no conceptual frames, just pure beautiful sound.
Hearing rainstorm in a jungle on one of his CD's was an
incredible experience (I learned it was a rainstorm from an
interview). Such a powerful, beautiful sound...

pure sounds can be really beautiful, i agree with that.
I've never heard those cd's you mentioned, though.

A cool easy-to-use program for making music:
http://www.madtracker.org/
...

I have been using it for a while, and I still haven't
figured everything out, yet.

(has anyone got a sequencing program (like Acid DJ or
Cakewalk?).. i need one for making more acousitc stuff)

Uh, here in Yugoslavia all software is practically free
(cracked, pirate stuff). So, if anyone needs expensive stuff
like soundforge etc., this is where you should shop.

I've been making my own music with 'Music' on the
Playstation, does that count?! :)

Actually I think I've got some pretty good stuff out of it.
I've been using it for about three years so I kinda know the
thing inside and out.

Nice to see there's lots of people here doing other things
with their comps, not just posting here and web surfing.
