when i try to use a softsynth like novation vstation or absynth along side cubasevst or acid pro it really seems to cane my laptop, so bad that it pretty much freezes up...
is this cause my laptop aint good enough or are there some settings i need to change? laptop is quite new but only has 512 ram and 'normal' sound card...
any advise is appreciated...

ideas: - select a different audiodriver in your VST host(directx, ASIO)
- increase latency - find newer drivers for your soundcard - upgrade BIOS
