at work I can't listen to xltronic radio..i've installed
win amp..but it doesnt play the file..it tries to connect
but ends by saying: [resolving
hostname]http://xltronic.com:8000/

is there a way to solve this?

oke and if i cant because its in a restricted area? I wont

Port 8000 is blocked. Probably by your corporate firewall.
It's nothing unusual tho, since only a few ports are trusted
by the IT/IS-departments...

Just find some DJ mixes, burn them or tape them and take a
Walkman/mp3/Discman into work.
