Anyone know any decent record shops for decent electronic
stuff on vinyl, im talking second hand old Squarepusher 12's
like Vic Acid or Accellerator by FSOL - basically where can
i get my hands on some classic stuff and the more recent
tunes.

Muchos Gracias!

I'm sure you know Berwick Street?

If you walk down there from Oxford Street end, there is a
great shop called Reckless Records on the left - there are
two branches, one is more dance musicy - go in that one.

Also on the right hand side is Sister-ray. Good for old
stuff, but a little more pricey.

Also on Berwick St - Selectadisc. Just off Berwick - Sounds
of The Universe. Rough Trade Covent Garden (Neal's Yard) is
wicked too. Smallfish (Old St), Phonica (Soho) are my
favourites though

the only time i went to london, i went to selectadisc.

i had a few other adresses (including smallfish) but i
didn't have the time... and anyway i didn't have any money
left. but selectadisc is really good.

I bought so many records from Beanos. It's changed a lot
since when I first used to go there. There used to be quite
a few good record shops in Croydon, 101 Records... there was
another. But it is yeeeeeeeears since I've been.

And the dear old names Sister Ray, Selectadisc, Rough
Trade... what fond memories they bring.

When I lived in London, I used to spend most of my days off
trawling through the racks of the record shops down Berwick
Street.

One record shop that I really miss from down that way is Fat
Cat.

So gutted that they shut down, I'd only discovered it about
2 months previously :(

for the opportunity of a real bargain , i'd look up music
and record exchange in camden and notting hill repsectively,
every two weeks they mark all stock down by a £ , so the
opurtunity is there to pick up some great items, and go
downstairs for the seconds, ive picked up some good stuff
for a few quid that near mint, some of em are a bit scuffed
but thats no biggie
its one of the few things i miss about london
