Eh,,,,,if one of our songs are used, do we still have to buy
the cd? I still will, but i think thats a little unjust.

I'm working on it now, the start makes you think it's going
to be "somebodies" by Marilyn Manson, then when the high
pitched bit should come in it's totally different. Cool
effect.

i think the thing to do is wait until phobia gives us the
rules/guidelines and then act from there... in other words,
be patient

Rather than try to wind up the mods, why not spend the time
perfecting your entries/artwork so that when the rules
finally come out, yours will have a better chance of being
chosen?

One thing Phob, were you serious about it being VERY
expensive? How about adding a couple of £s/$s onto the
price and including lifetime membership (see Project X
topic) with purchase of it?

offline D-Hex from Blue Springs Missouri (United States) on 2002-02-27 20:31 [#00104995]

oooohhh im very excited for this project. It really could
be great!!!!

By the way, is it ok to use the name aphextwin.nu without
any trouble?

offline fat kaimo from Finland on 2002-02-27 21:16 [#00105028]
Points: 2003 Status: Lurker

why would any artist want to release his own material under
the "aphextwin.nu"-label?

i mean it would sound something like;

"we are fans of aphex twin and we want to sound like him."

and i don't mean to offend anyone of you. it just sounds a
bit stupid to me.

offline fat kaimo from Finland on 2002-02-27 21:17 [#00105029]
Points: 2003 Status: Lurker

...

otherwise it sounds like a good idea though.

The press release is already written if we do realese it
under the guise of Aphextwin.nu. If Aphex himself says it is
OK legaly we should have no problem.
