ye! i know thats been said before, but i got a 404 file not found message everytime i try to access to the 50-x page of a thread... theres something i can do to solve the problem, to be able to read beyond the 50th post? |

From when I joined on xlt I always used 250 messages per page. So I don't have problems with it. Anyway I can understand people actually have a slow connection and they can't use more than 50 messages per page. Remove all the times "index" from the url must be a bit boring.. |

the problem is...... both index and topics are sharing the same function for page-browsing - we're currentyl rewriting that..... anyways, topics-paging is fixed now. and qrter... you're quite non-supportive for being a crew-member and all? it's one thing having the members whining, but I'd rather see any dilemmas between us being solved off this site. |

I may be part of the crew but I am also a member. what I see is at least one new thread a day being created about a problem and hardly any reaction from your side. I see your point, but like I said, I also see the site as a member and I am still myself, which means I will be critical. I don't really think I have any dilemmas with you, though. :) |

it can be quite tricky to handle that, but your role is to to calm down people, and meanwhile perhaps contact me per icq and explain the problem. joining the whining just adds fuel to the fire. of cos, there are no exact guidelines that tells you to do this lot and you haven't exactly signed a contract, but see this as an advice. also, when new features are introduced here, it seems a bit weird that crew members dismiss it officially right away, could be a bit confusing for the members. you can also ignore everything i said above, cos they are just suggestions. |

i'm not asking the crew members to do or THINK as myself, but sharing the same main philosophy for the site in general and acting as a solid unit would def. be something to strive for. don't take this part personally, qrter, it's just some general ramblings from me. |

in fact - pre-answer questions you see that may arise from a new modification you do to the page. in the transition period, a sticky called "bugs and answers" or something like that could prove pretty useful to stop "whining" (questions). |

Yeah man, I always thought that when I read your posts, you're exactly the opposite of "VampireAngel" for example, the majority part of his posts contain the words: "yay!" "Thanks!!!" "I love the site" "The Xltradio is great" etc.. Like you said, maybe you don't post too much happiness, that's about it. I think you're very supportive for the MB, someone don't think so? . |
