most probably been asked many a time but
at the moment it's easy to make a dvd from 1 avi file, i encode it with vso divxtodvd and then burn it with nero. but what if i wanted to combine several avi files on 1 dvd? i've tried merging avi files using avijoin but reliable it is not. help pls, all suggestions welcome.

Nero Ultlimate Edition has that ability. You can get to it through Smart Start. Can't remember what it's called though.

divxtodvd does do multiple avis into one dvd, though you don't believe me, but no, I don't believe it does menus.

You need TMPg's Tsunami DVD software - they have a demo version you can try out, and allows you to create DVDs with menus from mutliple video files.
