i quite like it a lot
apart from utopia which i never liked anyway :D, well it
has it's moment but i'm blown away by some other bits
troughout the whole album

from mind, track 8, 2,3,7,4 and the mighty n° 10 , well i
like it all nearly lolz

yeaha, not the most innovative thing, but it's quite a
unique trip trough very diverse influences, and the quy as a
lot to look forward imo

no! :p

well yes it is, but the cut ups with the voice is super
annoying to me, once or twice it goes down well, but i can't
stand it ! :D

rock-on on the other hand i din't like for the same reasons
at first but i'm well into it now

Great track indeed.

When I heard this song the 2nd time it reminded me of Chris
Clark - Guitar Solo (Exclusive track).

It seems like he used the same kind of technique.

it

I like Utopia, though I have to give the album more time as
the last couple of times I've listened to it I had to turn
it off as it was fucking annoying me.

I can understand that. I can only hear a couple of tracks
before I have to say "yes, you use all kinds of little bits
and snippets, very clever, go away."

Well, exactly, i mean, i might be a bit old for all this now
but there is something rather pedestrian about it, like, oh
right, this is the next step in music, more cut ups, more
beats that are a bit ohh, whoops there they go, ... I don't
know, I'm not that taken.

it isn't anything new. that's not a problem though.

at first I was quite impressed with the production on the
beats, they sound very upfront and fat (or "phat"- I don't
know..) but then I noticed he uses the same production on
the percussion in each track, which kind of lestens the
effect.

I still like the album, it's one of the better things coming
out of Warp in a while (certainly with that Bored of Canada
record <-- HILARIOUS PUN!!!) but isn't anything mindblowing.

I keep thinking you are Kim Deal and therefore
wanting to have meaningful intercourse with you.

I've downloaded a lovely dvd with Breeders material - a
concert from the last tour filmed with the unsteadiest hand
ever, making it a hefty experience.

better is that there's a Dutch documentary there on the
Breeders about 3 years ago. I had seen it on tv here and it
really is excellent. the Deal sisters are weird and
extremely normal at the same time.

if you like, I'll send you a copy of it (when I have enough
money to send stuff at the end of this month).
