Not really a request, but if you're interested in hosting a radio session on the xlt radio, send me an email with the following info: 1. your xltronic username 2. will you play your own tracks? duration? 3. what style will you play (apart from your own tracks) 4. your timezone 5. describe how you're gonna perform the set.... use winamp only.... use a mic...... dj live..... note: + the session will be limited to approximately three hours. + only premium members are allowed to dj. + broadband is required + icq/aim/msn is required to be able to sync details with me + you need software/plugins for the shoutcast system |

I'm still compiling bits and pieces for mine. you basically just select mp3s of what you want people to hear and broadcast them through winamp to the XLT server which then broadcasts your mp3s to the masses. not a lot of actual mixing going on - which in my case makes me thank god. so you could make a 3-hour mix and make it into one huge mp3 (and hope nothing goes wrong) or just make a playlist and use that. or select it at the moment itself ofcourse. |

aha! heh.. I wouldn't have the stamina for a three-hour mp3 session.. nor would I have the mp3s required... thus far I have one mp3 on my new computer, and it's one of my own tunes... |
