I got my belly button pierced yesterday. I've been wanting it for months ( but had to lose more weight) So I waited till my birthday plus some. And I got it! I actually got hooked up NASTY! it only cost me 20 bucks when they usually run for 40. So that made me 20 times happier.... Single & Loving it! |

wow...that was quick. Because 1 yr ago, I was going to get my first tattoo. And while telling my mother she would seriously FREAK on me...yell like crazy and told me not to get one. 6 months ago I told her FINE. And said "If I lose more weight then I'm gonna get my belly button pierced" And she said thats better than a tattoo cause then I can take it off. On Aug 1st 2005 was my deadline to lose all the weight I can and get it...So It took me a bit longer but I did it... I wanted something just for now. |

I just don´get it. Where I live it´s just the people you want to avoid (chavs and their various incarnations) who´s got piercings and tattos. obviously there are different standards in other countries. where i live in the united states, tattoos and piercings are mainstream and are considered fashionable. the difference is that the ladies will get a tattoo of a butterfly or abstract pattern instead of a flaming screaming skull. from my perspective, tattoos and piercings are, these days, reserved for those interested in conforming to fashion trends. |
