I'm really mad I missed seeing this .. the west coast feed
was edited

"George Bush doesn't care about black people."

as much as I'm annoyed by his bratty, sorta-faggy, and
sorta-undue arrogance ... his new album is really well
done.. thanks in part to jon brion

it's the first thing he's ever done that i can appreciate.
i can't stand his music - i think it's really the worst.

I'd have to agree with that. I don't like his music but his
arrogance has always annoyed me more.

He is entitled to his opinion.

first question: rapper/producer, quite a commercial sound,
thinks he's gods gift to music.

second question: you're too old.

I think Kanye has done some awesome productions:
Through the wire, Heart of the City, HOVA, Stand up, etc
Yes I love commercial rap.

Someone should tell George W Bush that his dad doesn't care
about black people.

you're almost as late in reporting this as Bush and his
chums were in helping New Orleans and the other areas
affected by Hurrican Islam, I mean Katrina.

I FUCKING LOVE GEORGE W BUSH.

He is the best US president since Reagan. I love the way he
pisses off liberals, I think his sense of humour is awesome
and he simply couldn't give a fuck what people think of him.

But George cares about white people who may coincidentally
care about black people.

Yep, he mainly doesn't give a fuck about what people think
of him because he just generally doesn't give a fuck.

I have to respect Kanye West for this. I don't like his
music but saying that took a lot of balls.

I could be cynical about why he's saying it.

What could you possibly say about the college sell out who
thinks far too highly of himself, traded on his mother and
fathers role in the civil rights movements and has a new
album released this week?

Bah, I challenge you cynicism.

He looked and sounded very sincere - and Lee, I would have
thought, if anything, this would have DAMAGED his record
sales, not boosted them, since America hates criticism, and
I've seen plenty of people attacking him over this.

Anyway, if he was acting, somebody get this person a palm
d'or pronto.

I was kidding. I praised him in the other topic.

Although I do wonder how much his "business manager" said
was the absolute most he could give.

Sorry Leezo, I didn't realise :) I'd never heard of him
before this incident, and Allmusic furnished little
information.

Chris : I'll have an answer, or I'll have blood!

sucks.

I wasn't impressed by his angry negro act he
definitely was nervous but I don't think his intentions were
100% honest, just a publicity act one way or another, heck
that clip was even shown on all 4 national tv channels in
here.

probably coming in too late but whatever. kanye is doing a
lot of good for hiphop music. his label - GOOD (Getting Out
Our Dreams) recently released Common's new album, which i
thought was decent. kanye's production is original and
highly imitated without much success. as arrogant as he may
seem, he is, in my perspective as a hiphop lover, doing a
LOT of good for hiphop and pop music. long live Kanye.
