Can anyone tell me everything I'll need to get started?

Thanks. Another thing I was wondering about is the INs and
OUTs on my laptop. I only have one line out. So I'm guessing
that makes mixing impossible on this particular machine?

maybe you would need an external soundcard..or else it could
be quite noisy..perhaps.

well, you can use the left channel as the output, and the
right output as your headphone mix... obviously everything
will be in mono though.

I'd recommend Live 5 myself.

it works, but it's a bit hit-and-miss, unless you run the
audio out as mono. then you can use the other channel for
cueing and shit.

if you record it internally in traktor i believe the
endresult should be in stereo.

i haven't tried that though, so don't shoot me if it doesn't
work :)

i mostly use traktor as an additional deck when i mix, so I
haven't had the need to check that out.

A pair of iPods?! And that piece of kit? Do
you think I'm made of money? I don't even use iPODs anyway.
Got a much better MP3 player, thanks very much.
