Music Project for new XLT vibes?

Hi, I have an idea for a new project for the music-makers
on the board -- game music... to interpret music from any
computer game that you like in your own style... well, even
if it flops, I'm going to do a version of the Space Harrier
music! jussss stop me now!

there was a sonic the hedgehog comp on the old aud.stim back
in the day. t'was jolly fun. i would maybe be up for this
again

would an 8bit vibes be less restricted?

Actually, wouldn't it more restrictive if it meant that the
tunes themselves had to either be a) 8-bit, or b) your own
interpretation of an 8-bit song... not all games are 8-bit!

"not all games are 8-bit!"

Thats the best point. From atari to the games of today i
think that there is huge potential behind this.

I am afriad that i may not be able to participate as i am
involved in another project currently

I am currently working with Dan and Anders on a project. So
i have dedicated alot of my time and focus in building a
sound library and getting various programs running again.

We will see though. :)

I don't mind having a crack at mixing the end results. About
time I made myself usefulllll.

I have just completed a mix of general stuff that I was
wondering if phobs fancied play on the radio or host or
something. It'd be interesting to get feedback at any rate.

Well I was thinking of a tentative deadline of October 1st ?
I've already made a Sibelius file of the basic melody /
harmony of Space Harrier, and made a first beat for it :]

quit making all these xltronic vibes the first one was good
enough fuck i been stuck on that shit for like the last six
months i'm afraid to listen to the other ones like they
couldn't possibly be this fucking good all the fucking time
but i will admit about 98% of the time i love all the spam i
listen to on here. somebody burn it all to a cd and like
yeah um mail it that would be cool.
