I'm playing Super Hang On on a megadrive emulator, and I 100% enjoy all the 4 tracks. They are ace. So are the Sonic and Knuckles's ones. I think all the Incredible Drum Machine trendy comes from Supernes and Megadrive. Todays video game's music suck, comparatively. |

I think all the Incredible Drum Machine trendy comes from Supernes and Megadrive. Todays video game's music suck, comparatively. My favorite video game music definitely was the older stuff... Herzog Zwei/Thunder Force from Tecnosoft, the Sonic games, Earthbound, Yuzo Koshiro, etc. But today's music is awesome too. Akira Yamaoka is my favorite person currently making music. You know what's WAY Eye Dee Yem... Streets of Rage 3. Those are some abstract, avant-garde mindfuck beats considering it was NINETEEN NINETY FOUR and it was being done on that shitty little soundchip. |

i remember one of my favorite things to do on games was to figure out the code to their sound mode and just listen to all the different tracks eventually in later days games now include that often in the options section of the menu |
