i've been putting together a comprehensive 2-cd "best of" type autechre collection, comprising stuff from hopefully all of the 8-9 (depending if you count in EP7) albums they've released, and most of the singles. When it's finalized, I'll post in the results. But suffice to say, their EVERY album deserves a track or two or three on it. That's just a longwinded way of saying that I can appreciated their whole arsenal. ... As for album of the year: 1) too early to tell, 2) Boc, 3) Boc, 4) too early to tell, 5) SOTD was pretty good though, 6) Untilted rules, 7) uuuuuhhhh, what else what else???, 8) sorry that's it, good bye. |
