I read the same. Would be a bit of a rip-off methinks. Also, these movies, as nice as they might look, mean shit. Pre-rendered movies on a TFT computer monitor of course look much better than in-game graphics on your average television. |

the nhl one is quite choppy, but that may be just my sub par computer. didn't seem like an improvement on the current generation of consoles at all. nice find though :) |

some of the movies are indeed quite choppy in parts. maybe that's what you get when you're trying to make movies made on supercomputers that could barely handle them look like they are the real deal :P |

just watched the call of duty 2 one, and I didn't see a single instance of graphics better than what my radeon x800 card can do on PC. and it was choppy as shit. |

I don't know how true this is, but I read something that said xbox360 is going to be obsolete shortly after it comes out, and that ps3 will be cutting edge for the next couple of years... |

PS3 will probably be superior in terms of hardware features, supporting multiple HDTVs and all, but it will probably be hella expensive because of that. |

word.. that looked just like a regular computer. I think ps3 will be the way to go.. even though I only ever play metal gear solids, silent hills and final fantasies (which are mostly for ps consoles these days anyway). |

sh 4 is the weakest thus far imo (haven't finished it myself actually.. I just got lots of stuff to do when I was nearing the end of it.. maybe I should bring the ps2 with me on holiday?)... somehow it doesn't scare me as much as 1, 2 and 3... actually, 2 might be the best... 4 is good, though, but just not as good as the others. |

ahah! :) anyway it should be a sort of "Nintendo DS" style. it means a touch screen. it's not still official but Nintendo hasn't revealed nothing yet, because the others console could imitate it. :) hurray for Nintendo! |

Thats not very practical. Usually people rarely look at the controller while playing and i couldnt imagine playing a fast paced game with some crap touch screen controller. ah well i barely play games anymore anyways |

It will come down to the PS3 and Revolution. XBox is a joke, was a joke and will always be a joke. PS3 will have good graphics but the same old games with nothing else really new or exciting. Revolution will have good graphics and lots of twists on old ideas. |

The problem is Nintendo won't be ready to be released at the same time as all the others, so they'll lose out on a lot of customers who want the newest and best thing at the moment. I'm willing to wait for quality tho. |

The Game Cube made an error in having their games on the little DVD's so that you will see the the parts that are missing from multi platform games, due to a lack of storage space. Playstation 2 is not designed for online play so when you use it you will get lag and polygon slowdown. The Playstation controller is uncomfatable after even a short amount of play. The X-box has better hardware the online capabilities are next to flawless. The hard drive is a great function and you can't play Halo on the other consoles!! |

PS3 will have good graphics but the same old games with nothing else really new or exciting. Revolution will have good graphics and lots of twists on old ideas. It'll actually be the opposite. This gen, Sony gave us new series' and intellectual properties like Jak, Ratchet, Sly, ICO, etc, rather than just reusing Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, and the PS2 is also home to most of the iconoclastic Japanese games like Katamari Damacy. Meanwhile, Nintendo gave us... another Mario, another Zelda, another Metroid, more Donkey Kong... well, to be fair, Pikmin is adorable and cool. Xbox is pretty good, great library, problem is, most of the games can also be found on PC. If you have a good PC you don't really need an Xbox (but then again, if you have an Xbox, you don't really need a good PC except for 1 or 2 games). I think Xbox 360 is going to gain some ground on Sony, commercially and quality-wise. It's looking good. PS3 is going to win again though. |

the Elder Scrolls one looks a bit meh. I loved the last Elder Scrolls for its individual design, but this now looks like every other fantasy type game. good old Patrick Stewart sounds nice though. |
