Dammit, why did I choose right now to be on a "nice on xlt" phase? This is really quite painful for me because I have so much I could say. Instead I'll try and word it in a positively critical fashion. OK, The reason people rip into you here is because of your attitude. Instead of joining and lurking for a bit and seeing the vibe here and how people interact, you steamed in and started posting aggresively as if you were trying to beat tridenti to reach 10,000. People are very welcoming here and always have been and probably always will be. I knew fuck all about this type of music before I joined but I registered, lurked, posted a couple of things then started to converse with a couple of people in threads. I got a feel of the place before I started being more "active". This isn't common internet use it's just common sense. On messageboards people take exception to someone "disturning the force..." as it were. People told you multiple times why they were giving you shit and yet you ignored it and carried on the same. People gave up and just gave you shit for no reason in the end and for that you can only blame yourself. I'm not putting 100% of the blame on you. You must accept however that when presented with the solution to the situation you just ignored and actually got worse at some points. Hell, I think I gave you shit because you were part of a new wave of people coming to the board and behaving like a group of monkeys who'd only just discovered they could throw shit. A couple of you have relaxed and one has turned their attention to fellating anyone who's not a regular user. All in all, if you want to leave then it shows that you're unwilling to accept that you acted like a prick on the board and can't take it when people tell you as much. /me hopes he hasn't got you mixed up with someone else |
