Is this just a repackaged version of the nasa worldwind
project?

My co-worker almost busted a nut over this service. My
crappy computer can't run it though :-(

This will make every other map service obsolete.

Yeah, my computer can't really do it justice either, makes
it less enjoyable. But still stupedous. But my area is
really indie, can't zoom in too close and there are a lot of
surrounding areas that only have boring maps.

yeah, it's a fucking awesome program. and, it's streaming
data from google's servers so i imagine it is constantly
being updated with better maps.

it's pretty badass to go to a large city that you're
familiar with (atlanta for me) that has the 3d
representations of buildings.

It was actually on the bbs boards for keyhole. Although I

afterwards.

Depends on the area. Go to somewhere like the Grand Canyon
and see what happens. That area is HQ and also has the
heights of the canyon in there. It's awesome.

Most of the US is HQ and quite a bit of Europe is.
