if its happens i'll be a happy man, i guess a few bonus
tracks from the same era would be a huge bonus but just the
compiled 12" would be great

A real CD release from Warp is of course not from mp3´s!

i sent a mail, but usually they stay quiet about it, they
may never answer... :D

if it turns out to be true, i'm glad they finally decided to
do it, i just hope it isn't against rich's will seeing as
he pulled them off of bleep a while ago.

Hmm, Warpcd138 must be Wap138cd.

If some of you guys get some sort of confirm email let me
know.
What disturbs me the most is that there is no extra info at
all on the site, somehow I don't trust this.

offline melack from barcielwave on 2005-07-07 05:33 [#01654937]

well, its a fact that wap138 doesnt exist yet... theres a
hole in the warp page...

if thats true, those are great news!

This may well be real, just seems odd that HMV have it up
before Warp have even announced it.

WAP138 was to have been "Keys For Frobisher" by Slum, but it
was pulled and never got a release. Maybe they're re-using
the old gaps in the catalogue.
WARP70 was to have been a DVD collection in the same vein as
the WARP 10th Anniversary releases (Influences, Classics,
Remixes) but that was pulled too. And then it was
reallocated to Twoism.

yabba daba doo

i want warp to release a 10 year comemorative Come to Daddy
in 2007 (just like rephlex did with tango n vecfit)

vibert .) thatdbe great

I guess they realised that anyone in the know was able to
just download them all for free as FLAC lossless files, as
good as a CD anyway.

They should release all the old vinyl stuff from Aphex in my
opinion. Especially Xylem Tube.

offline thecrimsonguard from ∞ (United States) on 2005-07-07 14:06 [#01655682]
Points: 1801 Status: Lurker

Maybe since RDJ can use Aphex Twin on rEpHleX now his
contract is indeed up, and warp is trying to make more money
off his [aphex] name since they have loads of shitty acts
now.

offline Exaph from United Kingdom on 2005-07-08 01:16 [#01656167]

so i wonder if this will reduce the value of the vinyls,
same with anal 10 now that pic disc is out???

That doesn't really make sense. They've got other stuff
that's available on CD there...

offline E-man from Rixensart (Belgium) on 2005-07-08 03:15 [#01656240]
Points: 3000 Status: Regular

i got my response from mart:

"Hello Jean,

I believe it's just the tracks from both of the hangable
autobulb cds."

this is xltellent news, i'm going to roll a big fat joint
before going out to buy analord 8, 9 and 11... :D

as for the catalog n°, seems logic to put an album tag on
it, WARP138 not WAP138, as it will be a compilation album of
some sort

simply great! is a stronger expression than
pretty Cool! therefor it's not logical to use those two in
