I see XLT like a pub that's gone to the dogs, there were good times, though I've only been here since about 10:00 say, but the landlord doesn't seem to care, he's employed some right bastards as barstaff, most of the regulars are a great laugh and can take a joke but there's a skitterish gaggle of teenagers in one corner, and a conclave of beardy, age 22 going on 52 Conservative ale swillers looking down their noses from the snug, all loftier than thou but thick as pig shit, the jukebox is broken and the crab sticks have gone off. I'm rambling. Anyway, sorry to disappoint anyone, you won't miss me, but hey, if you feel you're missing out and you'd like to be told in no uncertain terms, like the good ol' days, to fuck off, you can always use dog_belch@hotmail.com |
