I'd like to see the Killers, think they would be great at a festival, not sure about the others though (and aren't Coldplay playing? their new album is seriously doing it for me at the moment although I'll probably get lynched for saying it)
I actually think the festival line up is generally pretty healthy this year everywhere I look one of my favourite bands are playing, all my old school heroes like New Order, The Pixiers and Iron Maiden (doing a retro set, what a fucking great idea and I mean that seriously)
but there are not that many good electronic artists playing, it's all Moby/Prodigy and other such bland shite, but most decent electronic music is far too subtle to work at festivals anyway, bring on the rock.

the killers have the funniest drummer ever, whenever he hits a drum he opens his mouth - the harder he hits the drum, the wider his mouth opens. can't stop laughing when i see him play!

actually it was a really fucking good festival. the mud was unbeliveable and shitty, but good music & good vibes made for a sorted weekend. i felt sorry for the poor sods whose tents got flooded only about 100 meters from our tents. oh well.

I thought the guitarist for Basement Jaxx was really shit, and ruined their music to an extent.

what did it sound like there? on tv everything sounded a bit shit, maybe due to technical problems caused by the rain (plus some shit bands).

it was only the main pyramid stage that had sound issues. vocals were way too quiet when New Order were on, which was kinda annoying. you really have to stand right in the middle to hear anything decent... i think the problem was that the stage was just too big. the other stages where all fine really tho.

Chris Martin's performance was shocking, it killed any small enjoyment I garnered from Coldplay dead.

i'm not a coldplay fan but chris martin was a going over the top, which ruined it.
only really liked the last track they played, 'fix you' i think it's called. just too many of their songs rely on clavi rhythms (1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2 [e.g. clocks]) and a guitar riff featuring about 3 notes.
chris martin was sucking up to the audience so much, did make me cringe. what the hell did he have written on his knees? was he doing a parody of himself or what?
