Instead you choose to make a thread called "CS2x's Crew" in order to publically defame him, as it is so popular to do here. Didn't prove to be very productive and people react MUCH better to pleas like this when being contacted privately as opposed to being ''called out'' (quote unquote) in front of people, some of whom are people that don't like CS2x and really don't need any more reason to hate him. Actually it's because there are so many different characters and personalities on XLT that makes this a great forum, In the real world there isn't one community where there isn't conflict (be it physical, ideological etc.). The problem comes when people begin to take stuff too seriously, if you don't like a thread just ignore it instead of banning it. Just because people know eachother and aren't ashamed to admit it doesn't mean they should be prosecuted, isn't the purpose of a forum to meet new people and express new ideas? In the case of the "Only for Xeron" thread maybe I should have just e-mailed tridenti, but if XLT offers the opportunity to respond in a more sociably and convenient way I don't see the problem in doing so. I sympathise with pomme seeing all the nosy buggers who invaded the thread but like most crap threads it was evovlving, me and dog_belch were begining to talk about the language barrier he faced when he moved to Chile (somthing I was interested in, being able to speak 4 languages). I just hope XLT can return to "normal" and be less autocratic. |

Yeah. This is the first post of the nature in a while, because after the ban I decided to only do sober, thought out posts that didn't attempt humour. That's the only reason I'm a little annoyed about the whole thing, but I'm sure it'll just sort itself out. Like I said, I wouldn't mind a mod checking over my last 200 posts. I did appreciate the title of the thread. A "crew" is the last thing I'd ever have. ;) |
