What I hate about spoof, satircial news sites, apart from their smug existance, and the fact there's a BILLION of them, and that they're all awful, is that the joke articles always go on for about 10,000 words too long. Sometimes an absurd headline might be slightly funny but you don't need to back it up with a full blown essay that just milks whatever even vague comedy value there was until all you want to do is turn off the Internet permanently. |
