And I did laugh a few times at the American one I must say. The David Brent guy is pretty good :)

I don't why, but it didn't gel with me plus the boss just made me cringe more than anything. I like Bremner Byrd and Fortune.

I know a fair few people who just don't find The Office funny.
I really love it, myself. No other characters have made me laugh more than those of the Office.

the whole show is entirely cringeworthy, each situation, and intentionally so. that's what's funny.

The American one feels a little too forced. The jokes were there, but it just doesn't gel. Could have been great w/ a little tweaking. Maybe a little more subdued. Now, the boss in "office space" was more like most of my bosses. "Yeah, I'm gunna need you to come in on Saturday"
