i predict it's going to be a combination of free jazz and
improvisation/experimental electronica. now that would be
splendid!

then again, given the way things are going in america, maybe
we'll see a futurist revival.

im sure there is already, but it's real underground atm..it
will go right into mainstream though!

i doubt we'll see noise on mtv anytime soon..

certainly not, but it is already gaining much more
acceptance in the underground music world. i submit the
evidence of smojphace for your approval.

futurism was an art movement that included music.

Fururism died when the great machines that were supposed to
revolutionise life were used to kill during the first world
war.

for me..oversampled samples, any sample you like, cant get
better then that..i think its the way elektronica goes..on
and on and on..big things in music appear occassionaly and
are very subjective, so maybe your big thing already
happend?

You know what, I'm genuinely still waiting for time when the
populous realise the awesomeness of Windowlicker. That's the
sort of sexy/funky/dirty/innovative thing that should have
been built upon now!

fuck of course i had the wrong decade. it started at the
beginning of the last century and it died when the futurists
enlisted to fight the war and were killed. :)

I can't see any artists associated with free jazz or
free-improvisation really making it big. Free-improv is
doing well at the moment though, relatively speaking.
