Stop. Stop with the negitivity. Its virtually everything you
are posting. You said you werent gonna post here anymore and
i was disheartened because i thought you were nice. Then you
came back and are full of an unhealthy angst.

Be happy!

word,vp. i'm sorry if i've offended you, and i mean that. i
dont try to be a bad person but i often have funny
turns...... i'm not actually a nasty person at all, but its
easy to do it on the internet because, well it is. i'm
sorry mate, i don't mean any harm really.

sometimes i just get amazed at what people take seriously;
its only the internet. i guess i have a tendency to play up
to this. if i call someone a cunt or something, its not
because i think they're a cunt or i hate them, but because
its funny to stir a reaction. i'm a bastard, i know :(

I do that more often in real life. I have figured out the
fastest possible way to get to know people is to put them in
odd situations. As in asking overly personal questions and
then being really judgemental and seeing how they react.

This is more fun with females because they are overly
emotional. I like to view reactions alot.

I should really stop doing that though.

This is one of those "you gotta be there" situations. I
usually explain what i am doing after i do it. I just did it
at camping the week or two ago.

I dont like the concept of hurting people though because it
hurts me to see people down. I am usually absurd though.
That post reflected what occured at camping when a girl came
across materialistic and as though she had her boyfriend (10
years her elder "whooped")

My initial question immedately brought tears to her and she
replied "I love him" although anywhere before or after that
conversation it didnt seem like it. As a friend and i
discussed.

Her response to my question wasnt even my intention. Really
i was curious about her materialism in conjunction with her
relationship with a well off 30 something.

i often find with people, if you're on the same wavelength
(irrespective of interests, tastes, views, whatever) you can
get away with pretty much anything.

only hard thing about it.

as many people as i've befriended i've pissed off with that
"dive in at the deep end attitude" but its good, cos you
know you *click* with someone when you can talk total shit
for ages without having to make the bullshit small talk.

offline qrter from the future, and it works (Netherlands, The) on 2005-06-07 18:42 [#01626005]

I don't know, I used to do it a lot but at a certain moment
you just get the feeling that you're being kind of
'closet-arrogant' and you get enough of playing with people,
which eventhough you're doing it for a laugh (or out
boredom), it is what you are doing.

it's an empty thing to do - so you got a rise out of
someone. and then what. I just got tired of it, really. :)

I guess I have really come to appreciate honesty in people
and so I've tried to become more honest myself.

and it doesn't stop me making lots of dumb jokes, though.
and wind up people who are obviously cocks. :P

(sorry for the serious response.. :) )

but you are absolutely right, if you talk to some one for 5
minutes and they seem responsive you can kind of break them
pretty easily. i suppose sometimes its a bit harsh, but
anyway some questions need to be asked and nobody else will
do it

Its fun to do at strip clubs because they think they are
going to get my money just because i am there. I let them
know otherwise and procede to do these things. Although i
dont go all that often and frankly have tired of the
situation (waste of money)

Dumb jokes are some of the best things ever. It indicates a
lightheartedness. That is a good thing.

---

Dannn_: indeed. I have no problem prodding with questions
that some deem offenisive. Although i almost got into a
fight over the weekend about it because my drunken mouth
says silly things. I need to tone it down in that aspect.
;)

9 10: Yeah i hate meaningless small talk. Better just to get
down to brass tax. My friends and i do engage with alot of
verbal ball busting and people sometimes view it as though
we are not friends with the type of stuff we say. But we
usually have fun in this.
