Chris decided to leave the crew and the whole messageboard
due to the recent (months) of immature insults and such...
It was his own decision and his own will. There are no bad
feelings between me and Jedy Chris - we're still chatting on
MSN.

A great loss... It's always a pity when oldies disappear
from the messageboard.

And please don't drop any bad comments about him. I will
gladly add to the mass ban if I see any insults re: Jedy
Chris.

I don't know the chap at all and I think what he did was a
bit misguided but I hope he's left the board because he
wants to, not because he feels he should. I hope it's open
for him to come back if he wants to. We all make errors, but
it's just "internets", it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
This episode will become another part of XLT myth, to be
remembered fondly, and I hope Jedy will be there to laugh
along too.

Aw shucks. He was a golden oldie. That's a pity. Can't he
just lurk or something. There do seem to be a lot of
dickslaps around here these days but all you have to do is
ignore them. G'wan Jedy come back ya fool.

You are right. Please try to remove my inane posts and
attempts at "humour" from your memory.

I was going to say something about a "fresh start", but it
all got a bit too cringeworthy, even for me.

We've all grown up and moved on, we've changed. The terrbile
events of the last few days have opened our eyes and made us
see that what holds us together is stronger than the things
that seperate us. May Jedy's legacy be calm and tranquility,
let us think of him fondly.

just though he was kind of confrontational with some members
for no reason - we all give each other shit here, there are
no exceptions. you just give it right back - you dont have
to go on a ban spree, or threaten the ban at every whim. but
i will give him respect and say adios

Jedi Chris was a man. Not a great man, but a man
nonetheless. In fact come to think of it, he might have been
a woman. Or a hermaphrodite. I don't really know. But i know
one thing - June 1st will be ever known in my heart as Jedy
Chris day. Here's looking at you, kid.

Talking of that, did you know that the original definition
of Bisexual is being hermaphrodite? I have an oldish
dictionary, and it does not have the meaning we all know
today, ie attracted to both sexes.

Also, the word Billion literally means Million Million, so I
think the Americans should use Thillion for A Thousand
Million, which is their erroneous definition of a Billion,
which has spread throughout the world, confusing people who
were taught (correctly) that a Billion is a Million Million.

dog_belch really already said it best and now all of us
well-wishers are kind of redundant.

well, everyone makes mistakes. it is the nature of the
board that one would be critiqued on those mistakes. it is
inevitable. there was a lot of that going back and forth.
anyway, i didn't expect he'd be gone for good and that's a
shame.

If a million is a thousand thousand and a billion is a
million million, logically a trillion should be a billion
billion not a million billion. Bloody inconsistent
Englishes.

trillion

Not necessarily because the jump isn't always uniform. It is
the fact that Billion literally means million million that
indicates the American definition is erroneous, and probably
came to be used that way because of the big jump between one
million and one million million. The invention of the
Thillion solves that, however. Trillion litterally means
three millions put together, which is a million billion.
