I was drunk and my friend played some Atari Teenage Riot
and it reminded me of the "Chocolate Wheelchair" album by
Venetian Snares.

is there a connection?

atr>>>>>>vsnores

I don't think there's a connection other than the use of
fast breaks.

called 'x ray specs' or something

Not really a connection but the whole breakcore thing seems
to owe a lot to the digital hardcore thing.

ATR = Alec Empire with 3 other people shouting overtop.

He is super prolific too. Or at least was.

ATR is just another branch on the same hardcore techno tree
that vsnares grew off of.

For a more useful historical point of reference check out
