Well, we can agree on one thing then.
I find acid to be crap most of the time. Maybe it's good when you are tripping, but if music only works when your mind is under the control of alien substances then it's shit music imho.
But if you can enjoy acid, good for you. I can't.

I like acid a lot actually, perhaps not as good as ambient trance stuff such as Delerium and Amethystium but still...
the whole atmosphere of the club when you hear it makes it a truly amazing experience. I think it's let down when you're just hearing it in your headphones...

i like a real murky bassline with alot of lowpass filter that just rides on and on, then after you think you can't take it anymore, the filter lifts and its gets all squlchy and hellacious..
