Man, this is pretty nice. I only wish I could install it
on my Windows PC.

I want to get it. Maybe I'll wait until someone makes some
good widgets for the UK.

looks amazing, very sophisticated. sounds much better than
windows. im very tempted to opt for a mac but im worried
about compatibility etc. will all my files still work on it.
etc? wont i have to get a different version of software
again to install it on the mac etc? is it worth it? im very
tempted

i just hope all apps won't start to be "10.4 and
higher"-compatible only now... i remember that pissed me off
when i was under 10.1 still and more than half of the apps
required at least 10.2 or 10.3...

Just finished installing it and it's crazy-good. My trusty
ol' 400mhz iMac got snappier with the web, filebrowsing and
mailstuff.

Dashboard look neat, but I doubt I'll use it much. The
desktop search is great though.

Cubase SE 1.06 wont even install under Tiger :(

back

Apple have a version of Tiger running on Pentiums in their
labs. It's based on the BSD core so it's quite possible
they'll try and release it.

has a feature where you can send and receive MIDI over
TCP/IP built into the OS

CoreAudio

Spotlight
Dashboard

lots of other little things that you'll only notice while
you're using it
