looks amazing, very sophisticated. sounds much better than windows. im very tempted to opt for a mac but im worried about compatibility etc. will all my files still work on it. etc? wont i have to get a different version of software again to install it on the mac etc? is it worth it? im very tempted

i just hope all apps won't start to be "10.4 and higher"-compatible only now... i remember that pissed me off when i was under 10.1 still and more than half of the apps required at least 10.2 or 10.3...

Just finished installing it and it's crazy-good. My trusty ol' 400mhz iMac got snappier with the web, filebrowsing and mailstuff.
Dashboard look neat, but I doubt I'll use it much. The desktop search is great though.

Apple have a version of Tiger running on Pentiums in their labs. It's based on the BSD core so it's quite possible they'll try and release it.
