hmm. i'm half tempted to setup a torrent tracker purely for live performances and net labels; absolutely _no_ commercially available stuff allowed (i.e. albums, etc). thoughts? would people use it? |

btw, "uploading" (or seeding) files to a bittorrent tracker is incredibly easy - anybody can do it, and it's easy enough to supply step-by-step instructions. it's arguably easier than normal uploading, because all you need to do after the initial few steps is just leave your bittorrent program open until other people have the file (aka seeding). |

A good solution would be if eveyone just uploaded these shows via BitTorrent in flac format. Could be posted to http://www.dimeadozen.org legally. Plsu in flac everyone can encode them to whatever nasty lossy format they like. :) |
