sorry about this
why does my computer run like crap?
i cant listen to mp3's cause they're skipping like my
computer has alot of calculations to do. it worked before,
when i close my network connection it seems to work better
for a bit but not enough
my taskmanager doesnt say there is too much stuff running, i
tried several outputs for winamp and some soundcard settings
(m-audio)
it's not just the sound, everything is slowed down, even the
windows startup.
im afraid this is hard to answer cause it could have alot of
reasons

yes, im removing some spyware all the time
windows xp
my best guess is that it has to do with:
when my computer went down a couple of times last week i
booted from my other hd (c:) and windows went and reindexed,
or renamed even, all my files on the hd im now on now. after
being back on this hd (f:) it also said windows recovered
from a serious error.

i deinstalled alot of programs and cleaned up my registry
with that mechanic, i should manualy keep the registry tidy
i dont think the problem has to do with spyware

I'm betting the the file you cannot delete is an avi.
It has to do with how widows xp thumbnails avi files.

You have to delete a registry entry, but I forget wich one.
Google it for christ's sake...
