[Analord cds - WooferAttack Edition]

offline WooferAttack from Milano (Italy) on 2005-05-06 10:00 [#01589679]

Nothing is better than original albums so I'm disappointed
with Rephlex 'cos they don't release a cd version of
analord.
I've not a vinyl player and I don't want to buy it, so I'm
downlaoding all FLAC versions of Analord, then I will burn
them on cd and I will print all covers with good quality.

Disc1: Analord01,02,03
Disc2: Analord04,05,06,07
Disc3: Analord08,09,10,11

Sorry Grant, but you give not other alternatives...
If Rephlex will release a cd version I will be proud to buy
the originals to support the music I love (as always I
did).

\/\/.

I'm pissed off at this too. I am sure that it will be
available on CD soon. They stand to make a lot of money from
this and it doesn't make sense to not have a CD release.

they might come out with a cd eventually...the caustic
window comp came out...after all the records were released.
so relax. the only thing that i could see rephlex or rich
having beef about is that they want to keep it in analogue
format not digital. again always more questions than answers
from rephlex.

would it be fair if the money they made from the folders
(i.e. the hardcore fans who were good enopugh to stump up
£40 for 2 tracks of music they have never even heard) was
used to make some cheapo double cd compilation for flids who
call themselves music lovers and don't own a turntable?
don't make me laugh

If they made a CD version, it would be DIGIlord. And quite
frankly that prefix combined with the idea of "collecting"
all the volumes is far too horrifying for my tastes.

Because it wouldnt be Anal anymore. People like Anal.

I'm pretty sure there'll be a CD compilation. It might not
have all the tracks, it might have some exclusive CD tracks
(probably). Or there'll be a whole new Analord album on cd.
I'm guessing here.

1-8+10=2:29:40 Would have to be a triple CD pack. As this is
unlikely it would probably be a double with just the best
tracks.

that's very dissapointing woofer...

so because something is released and you don't want to spend
the money to be able to own it, you do the thief and hide
yourself behind some flawed logic implying that it's rephlex
own fault that you steal from them so you can feel better?

disgusting i say...

if you don't want to buy a record player then don't! but
don't bitch because you can't listen to vinyl!!!

you could download the flacs *and* buy the vinyl, then
you're still paying for the music you're currently stealing.
it won't matter that you can't play the actual vinyl, you
have the cd. then maybe that will act as an incentive to
purchase a turntable...

offline thecrimsonguard from ∞ (United States) on 2005-05-07 09:37 [#01590679]

if they released a cd it would definately be a compulation
of the series. like someone just said you can't fit the
entire series on one or two discs....maybe the songs would
be editted down, certain tracks ommited...and the possiblity
of cd exclusive tracks...i won't e buying that i've invested
enough in this series

in fact anyone who owns 1-11 with the original 10 that came

Maybe they'll do the CD version in a CD sized version of the
folder. Little sleeves for each release. You pay £20 for
the folder with Analord 10 then throughout the rest of the
year they release the rest at £2 a shot....

more "disgustings" things worst then this and don't make a

you are a right cunt "man"...
of course you support rephlex and that's good i do too!!!
but downloading the flacs is really hurting them (among
others), and you have the money to buy a TT

so, you just "don't like vinyl" but you LOVE afx and that
gives you the right to d/l the flacs without buying them,
you realise they are trying to avoid piracy with the analord
serie uh? so you are saying you love the label and the
people behind it, but then proceed to fuck them in the
ass!!!

you are like one of the most obssessive fans and can't even
buy some ep's... :|

it's like joyrex selling his analord binder and not
understanding why he would have to drop the mp3/flacs...

the world has truely become a fucked up place...

PS:"Sorry Grant, but you give not other
alternatives..."

yes there is one, buy them... or don't listen to them
what would you do if there was no internet or no flacs or no
mp3?

E-Man: It wasn't that I didn't understand about deleting the
Mp3s of the Analord discs after I sold them... I just
couldn't be arsed to!

True, the Joyrex series came out on CD, but the UI series
didn't... at least not a full release, just a "megamix" of
some of the tracks from each... I suspect Analord will get
the same treatment, if at all.

I wouldn't overreact. You are right in an "absolute" sense
but at the same time, you can't expect everyone who wants to
hear Analord to go out and buy turntables if they haven't
got one, a lot of people don't. I've bought the 12"s and I
don't have a turntable, so hopefully I'm safe from your
wrath, but this is the real world, Woofter's a fan not a
"cunt", and I'm sure when they're inevitably sold on CD
he'll buy them.

i understand the ones who bought the analords & have
turtables (i did it & i'm enjoy it a fucking lot)

i also, kind of undestand, the skint ones without decks who
got it on mp3

but i dont understand the ones without desks but who
actually bought it on eps (its like buying cds without cd
player)...

Well, speaking just for me, just to clarify, I haven't got a
turntable since I left the country, and all my old vinyl is
in a lock up in south london, but I will get a new one when
I get round to it.

Rephlex have reissued stuff on CD, as Joyrex says the
Universal Indicators and the Caustic Window compilation,
unto Cylob's "Previously unavailable on Compact Disc", all
apparently to stop the eBay "madness" of inflated prices not
going to the Rephlex coPHers, Analord is going to go for
"mad sumz" on eBay once it's all out, so I am quite sure
it'll be on CD. I am prepared to be VERY wrong though.

its the worst possible raping of supply and demand those
ebay vinyl sales are - anyone who buys vinyl knows that it
is highly collectable and worth money - so you get a certain
number of people who stand to make some cash until rephlex
releases analord on cd - but even by then the prices will
have swelled beyond holy shit to holy mother f'er. i am all
for getting the flac versions of the analord series and
maybe even paypal ing replex or making a donation of the
actual worth of the music. i would actually say that
everyone should do this, thus equaling out the supply and
demand.

why wouldnt they make a box-set of all albums. box sets sell
for about 50+ and all of them on vinyl is about 100 minus
the binder and 10. and didnt the email for the waiting list
or whatever say something about releasing in a more
convenient form in summer. or maybe they meant cassettes.
