It's pure ring-modulation. A mate of mine soldered one together fed it a saw-wave and some radio transmission, and the result was identical (without the actual words, that is) |

elephant song is really repetitive - just a single darn loop with a crap elephant noise in it, only broken in about 2 places with a crap reverb effect. its shit. the rest is up to Aphex standard. yeah, voice efect on knievel sounds cool. |

I hate this EP. I played this track one day to my friends and they thought it was a wind up. Maybe others disagree, but to me Elephant Song is by far the worst track AFX ever produced. The other tracks are ok, but nothing on it is of any real quality. For me, the limited release albums and EPs such as AB3 and AB4 are where RDJ publishes all of the stuff he's not sure about. Some of it sounds to me like he knocked it together in a couple of hours. |

elephant song. once i heard this headphones, and i heard all the machinery noise properly, and all the WOOoow noises, and torwards the end the machinery noises get nasty. even though there are the ARGHGHS in it, this track is awesome : D as is the whole ep thumbs up : ) |
