Thanks neetta, I searched on the Paradiso site and they finally confirmed that Autechre will play. I still wonder why the site contains such a little amount of information, not even a hotlink to the Paradiso site. |

Yes and I will never have such an experience again. The ambiance, the mixed audience, this marvellous structure and of course the variety in music. Can you imagine a 70 year old man sitting in front of me watching Plaid, Jamie Lidell going really nuts, Chris Clark - Tyran (video animation) and the premiere of Rubber Johnny etc?? Most of the old people came back after the break, which I didn't expected to be honest. Jamie Lidell let some people cover their ears (even the youngsters!) cause it was way too loud. It also was very great to see the amazement on an old ladies face when he showed the power of his voice once he began to sing the song Multiply after 20 minutes of really messy and loud jamming. The ending was stunning, Aphex composed a piece called "Unconducted Final Sequence", at the end of this song 4 drummers jumped off stage and walked into each corner of the hall and created a surround sound, which sounded very special!! I don't want to make you envious or something, it's just to kick your ass or you'll miss the boat again. ;) |
