well, i didn't say they're "interesting"... i just think they're nice aesthetically. they look like pretty good close-ups of flowers and i think that's nice to look at? that's about all. |

okay look i really dont mean to start shit or anything but have you ever held a camera in your hands? the guy apparently stuck his camera cellphone/webcam in a bunch of flowers and pressed a button.. they're out of focus (all of them), there is no composition or any particular interesting angle. i'm not one to say all pictures should be perfect or anything, since mine are pretty bad, but i can easily tell when someone hasn't the faintest idea about taking pictures, or not wanting to put ANY effort into it. hence my question to nobsmuggler: 'are you expecting feedback?' because i don't understand this thread. |

yes, i've used a camera before. i couldn't tell they were out of focus because the images are too small. so they're not mindblowing - no one said they were. relax, buddy. no reason to be mean about it. who cares? |

J198 i was expecting feedback, i was bored but to say the pictures are out of focus is wrong. Picture 2 is crystal clear and with picture 5, altough it doesnt work so well being small, the focus in the picture is on the one pink flower in middle |

I quite like number 5. I could just be projecting, but there's something a bit menacing and odd about it, something about the composition. Who set the rule that every image has to be in crystal sharp focus anyway? It's that kind of over-technically minded attitude that pisses me off. Mildly, anyway. |

over technically? i never said all pics have to be 100% focused, but these pics dont exactly look like they were made out of focus intentionally either. i can definitely appreciate a blurry pic, as long as there is something worth looking at. nob: i don't know what kind of camera you're using, but the pink flower is not in focus, just because it's less blurry than the rest.. on a more positive note: i'm really interested to know what that thing on pic 6 is, and if you have a bigger version of that with the entire thing on it? |
