The swedish national radio channel P3 is featuring a show
every Wednesday night with IDM/electronica. They are very
fond of Aphex Twin, Ae/gescom, Boards of Canada and
Squarepusher.

Not bad. They are my heroes. :-)

your right....must be the same where you live as where I
am....

95% radio stations in Southern California dont play ANY good
music......Especially real good music like those groups....

Do you ever think that may take away the purity and
uniqueness?
I dont think I would wanna hear some big dumb radio station
saying-

" And coming up next after Staind, the new single from The
Aphex Twin"....

lol......

Have you checked out any of the UK BBC radio stations?...

Radio 1 does do some good late night shows (John Peel is a
famous old fave and he plays all sorts...)...but they also
have a lot of dance music progs...

Don't listen to it myself (I'm a Radio 4 nut...which is just
talking & news etc...)...but you should be able to find
something there you'd like...

It streams over the Internet...haven't got the URL on me but
check www.bbc.co.uk and that should point you in the right
direction....

www.sr.se/p3

For Swedish P3. This is also the station that had Autechre's
Introl Kalpol in one of their trailers. I mentioned it in
some other topic.

Check out Giles Peterson's Worldwide show on Wednesdays
12pm-2am British time and One World, the same time on a
Thursday. BBC Radio 1 that is.

There's a hungarian netradio called Pararadio. They have
every different kind of programmes. All are different from
the mainstream somehow, like concentrating on StarWars, or
on gay people, etc.
One programme is about electronic and IDM music.
It is called
Haloszoba.

Haloszoba=bedroom in hungarian. They used to play Aphex too,
but I have to find a link where all the broadcasts are
listed. Until then try this one. Don't worry they don't
speak :)))

I request Aphex on 90.3 KRNU EVERY thursday as they like to
play some EXCELLENT music that night only.

the dj was like... "and finally someone out there requested
some music worth listening to"

this thursday he played Metapharstic & Come To Daddy (live)
& then Squarepsher - Go Spastic

classic fm sucks man! it's horrible to cut classical music
back to these hits, because i hate hits and classics anyway,
after a while they just stop being songs because you don't
hear anything in it anymore

I'm thinking about satellite radio... but nah... they
wouldn't have it. I've requested Aphex/Autechre/[]> several
times, but they never ever play it. Our school plays music
every friday, but it is HORRIBLE shit. I'm thinking about
sneaking in there one day and putting in Bine...

I heard Girl/Boy Song way back on the local university radio
station here... it was way before I was into Aphex Twin, and
I remember wondering what the hell it was... I really liked
it though...

Here in Melbourne the great radio station Triple R played
IZ-US one night! And they have played a lot of stuff from
Prefuse 73 and Autechre.

And once I heard Windowlicker on Triple J but that was from
a telecast of Rage (From non-Australians, Theres a music
show called Rage. The TV channel that make Rage also make a
youth station (Triple J). When Rage is on TV Triple J
"Plays" Rage as well only with the music of course. So when
Rage played Windowlicker it was on TV and the radio at the
same time, I just heard it on the radio first) Sorry, too
much info, I know!! =D
