Nationalism is not stupid at all, as long as the world still has borders. I have dual citizenship (USA and Ireland) - it's kind of weird having loyalties to two countries. |

Cheffe::I didn't do this one but there's a program called GIF construction set that is really easy to use. REFLEX::The canadian woman hockey team is kickin ass!!! I read that in canada there is a law that says women sports shall get as much sponsorship as male sports. |

I don't know about medal count, I just like watching the rediculous talents. Other than the Olympics, I'm not very much into sports. Or countries, for that matter—But that's more complicated. |

I suppose I can slag my country/politicians off without having to fear for my life which is something to be proud of I guess, but I think the idea that you should be grateful for that is absurd. It's wrong when you can't say those things, it should be normal that you can. I wonder whether we would actually be happier if the USA did take over the world (it will one day I'm sure) and there wasn't all this war and racism. |
