[spam] chomskymix - noam chomsky + electronica

This is an hour-long mix I made of Noam Chomsky speeches
over a background of electronica. I know there are some
Chomsky fans here who might appreciate this, and also if you
have not read or heard Chomsky before then I would encourage
you to check this out:

chomskymix1
(82 Mb - 58:16 - 192 kbps mp3)

There's also a much smaller 6-min extract you can download
from here if you are curious but have limited bandwidth:
chomskymix homepage

This is the tracklisting for the full mix:
Your Head My Voice - Aphex Twin
Afternoon Girl - Ovuca
Amo Bishop Roden - Boards of Canada
First Sleep - Cliff Martinez
Mir - Murcof
Eyen - Plaid
Port Rhombus - Squarepusher
Clipper - Autechre
Tha - Aphex Twin
Rktic - Brothomstates

Hope you enjoy it.

the idea sounds pretty cheesy, but who knows.

I might try the 6-minute extract.

I like chomsky, i like some electronica, but this sounds
dodgy to me.
Cut ups of him i might have checked out though. sorry!

Listened to the six minute thing, for about a minute and i
don't like it. I prefer to read his words or listen to a
speach once in a while.
Not much care put into it.

it is pretty cheesy.

I agree on the cut ups. but good cut ups/collages of voices
in general get my vote.

I constantly get the inclination to ask if someone could
turn off the radio, please.

well, thanks for the feedback : )
to clarify a bit -
the mixing is very simple - just fades between tracks
the emphasis is on the chomsky stuff - I tried to put
together one hour of chomsky that would serve as a good
introduction to his world-view

i find that spoken-word stuff with music in the background
is a bit easier for people to digest sometimes. but
obviously not everyone likes that format.

i originally did this for a friend who wanted it for a
net-radio broadcast, I guess its meant more for people who
may not have heard Chomsky before.

it might be more annoying if you don't know the music - 2
new signals, which one will you focus on?

I'm a cum swallowing whore.
I also have one giant orifice that extends from my vagina
all the way to my rectum. A massive crack if you will.

The voice i think. Not speaking for me, but i think in
general people would listen to the voice, it's loud enough
in the mix and seems to be the whole point.

I found the music to be distracting when I was listening to
the voice.

you cumsucking slitslut.

It does make it more dramatic, wich i don't think is
needed.

(the slit actually has eight orifices, but most of them lead
nowhere)

it makes the whole sound a bit pretentious.

I'll whip out my 9 cocks, most of which lead nowhere.

talking of cocks, where has giginger gone? he's at the
ae-gig tonight, probably, but I haven't seen him the last
few days.

And you sound pretentious with your nine cocks there! Who
said anything about oral?

I think giginger was well upset at a comment scabs codeine
made.

I certainly didn't! seeing as you have 8 orifices, which,
although they may lead nowhere, leave ample room for 8 of my
9 cocks, although they may lead nowhere.

which remark was this? I can't imagine Chris being upset by
anything internetty.

well chomsky is great, and you've picked some excellent
electronic music, but i found myself not being able to
concentrate on either very much. its still pretty cute
though and it will remain in the archives.

you checked it out, Jason! you checked it out and you
reported back asap!

although the bit about the archives seems a fat lie and when
you say "archives" you mean "recycle bin".
