silent orchestra could've been mixed better and it was a bit long... but the song itself was pretty good. i really like the other one - hes looking at me. very cool track. neither of these strike me as being particularly complex, though. |

he's lookin at me is kinda nice - i can hear every minute of work in it - but i don't like two things about it - first - the drumsample - there are thousands of different drum samples on the net - why using the same ona all over the time !!.... second - in the second part of the song - there could be smothing more .... maybe some bass line or something |

indeed, that's the problem of the thread. complexity is a highly-subjective thing, and that is further compounded by the personal experience of the artist creating it. something that may have been incredibly complex for someone to create can still sound incredibly simplistic in the end. so for the purposes of discussion, we have to accept the inherent subjectivity in dealing with so-called "complex" music... |

now in the days of dsp, suppatrigga and other effect stuff it's kinda difficult to say really if somethinf is complex or not... then there's the factor of randomisation - some effects can be made easily with this - for exmaple some fucked up beats... |
