I think it's done mostly in flash so they are able to do sort-of macro animations, make it really eazy to crank them out and be timely satire. But last night's, although timely.. was still rushed a little I think ("it's like 10 times bigger than the battle at the end of LOTR" - haha) I think they might also have some skellital scripts lying around that they can plug things into. hmm.. south park is great after all these years <3 |

yeah it takes about a year to make a simpsons episode, and then the topical jokes they pitifully try to make miss the mark, and fall flat, but then we all know its shit, but thats a different story............... |

i think they do that show in final cut, or something similar, after effects perhaps. flash animation doesn't move like southpark does. |

i'm sure it's a comibination of several applications, though to me, and i could be wrong, it looks like final cut/similar. ANYWAYS, yeah they've always been on top of things. i missed last night's episode, hopefully i'll catch it later in the week. |
