[max/msp] My best friend...

This stuff is just so much fun...I have been working on my
new patch, from scratch, for a few hours now and
this is what it produces so far. Nothing amazing
but the whole thing is done in Max with no external packages
and I know exactly how I want to progress and I even have a
good idea of how I am going to get where I am going.

I recommend the effort to anyone :D

Sorry I know it's a bit like a kid bringing home his first
shit painting from school and wanting his mum to stick it on
the fridge.

will max/msp make me cool too?

Whatever happened to playing an instrument?

Kids these days... its all point and click.

It's not cool...ae didn't even use Max on Draft...it's just
for someone stupid like me it is giving me an idea into the
background of sound generation and manipulation. I think I
would only ever use it as a tool anyway, generative
sequencing is cool but nothing beats a human beat.

that was very boring. although i don't know much about
max/msp so i shouldn't really comment. i did like the other
max song you did, from another thread...that was good.

The interesting thing about working with Max, Reaktor, PD
and such is that you may finally realize that you still
don't have any decent musical ideas but it will take you
longer to find out.

Congratulations on exactly recreating the snare from the
Fine Young Cannibals' hit "She Drives Me Crazy"!

i think the sample sounded good, except for the snare that
could have been tweaked a bit.
