shit... i have this track in 192 kbps mp3.

i still hope Warp are playing a file from the fake leak on
their site to misguide everybody. but this seems "too
impossible" to be true.

i really didn't download any leak from the net...so i'm just
waiting and you are saying that this track sounds the same
of the leak

:(

it does

for the love of god, it is not that difficult to recognise
that the music is authentic autechre. the technical
expertise is there along with the style. it is basically
unduplicable.

online big from lsg on 2005-03-22 02:34 [#01540361]

it was played on bbc national radio too

This is not the version that Rob da Wank played on Radio 1
back in February - so does this mean that the other version
deffo came from Warp? I can't see the BBC playing downloaded
tracks.

I was surprised when I went to the warp site as I've been
listening to the other version with vocal cut ups for ages -
the same version that was played on the radio and leaked on
a promoters website a few weeks ago.

This whole mystery is going to drive me nuts as the album
I've been listening to is fucking magic! Scobby Doo, where
are you?!?!?

Well this is enough proof to convince me the leak is real.

One thing that bothers me is that the main rythmic elements
of the tracks (the main 'beat') drowns out the other shit
going on.

cover of the first one say Untitled?

if this track on the warp site is from the first leak then I
suspect that the tracks I've been listening to are from the
2nd?!?

has anyone got any ideas who was responsible for the 2nd
leak if they aren't autechre? they sound awsome!

Yeah... this is them. I just didn't want it to be cause
1)The timbre is not as otherworldly as their previous albums
and 2) It would be great to have more AE material!. But the
robot is right, these are technically brillant. At lease we
can look forward to these sounding even better on the
mastered release!

offline Spookyluke from United States on 2005-03-22 12:54 [#01540854]

Hmm I was under the impression that I head leak 2, but my
fermium sounds exactly the same as the one on Warp.

Those two chords that go back and forth within this track
are really cheesy imo. And it's pretty repetitive.

However, I love the bit where it gets all fucked up around
the half way point; that makes it worth it.

Yeah I like that actually. It reminds me of some of the
fatter percussion elements in Draft.

I can see this being a much more likable track when I get
new speakers.

i like how the track segues into the trees, for me i like it
better when i listen to the entire album, rather than this
track by itself.
