Morgenstern! My EP

offline clint from Silencio... (United Kingdom) on 2005-03-18 10:21 [#01537091]

Hello all!

I have finally finished everything on my EP thing after far
too long. Its up and ready at last. Which means I can now
start new things not in front of a computer. Anyways I'm
pretty pleased with it, I'd love to get your feeback etc
etc, the usual.

Morgenstern!

Tracks 1,3,5 are quite manically breaky, and 2,4,6 are more
soundscape type pieces.

Thanks :D

i'm having a hard time trying to put in words how much i
enjoy this without sounding like a fool.

normally i just say things like dope, wicked or AWWESOME.

but this deserves much much more.

there is so much emotion in these songs, as well as fuck
awesome breaks...... man

i'm just going to make up a word

Woah thanks very much mate!

I've put so much into this, its almost untrue how stressful
it got at times... but I'm pleased with the end result, I
think. I'm chuffed you like it though, seriously, I didn't
know if people would be into it.

:D

good listen anyway!

Yeah I like screwing around with cassette tapes and
distortion and stuff... not intentionally lo-fi but I've
been listening to My Bloody Valentine too much recently.
Thanks for your comments :)

[A last bump for weekday people]

Amusingly my place on the mp3.com.au 'experimental
electronica' chart has gone up from 440 to 6 thanks to you
lovely downloaders! I'm not really challenging our friend
ComradeF yet but you never know.

Comrade F is a xltronic legend!

I'm so drunk right now. But please download this. (If you
want to hear it mixed nicely in cd-quality sound, email me,
I'll send you a copy with lovely artwork as long as you
aren't too far way from where I am...

downloading :), well trying to.

Shit, yes there is a 'Isn't Anything' feel to the cover, I
must admit.

Sorry about the 128kbps rate, it sucks I know.

I haven't thought about that. Seriously though, email me,
I'll send you the cdr for free with the artwork , its mixed
differently, and it sounds better uncompressed.

Thanks guys.

swift_jams - yep I don't have any sound-prodicing hardware
really. All of the synths are freeware vsts with a lot of
FXs.

like

Thanks mate but its ok. I think I'll just stick to the CD
and the 128kb versions for now, it took long enough to
upload those bastards on my crap connection.

swift_jams, there are many, some really crap ones, some
quite decent, the effects made the sounds in a lot of the
cases. there are loads here. I used stuff like Triangle, FreeAlpha,
and some that are preinstalled with Cubase.
