Where does this sample come from? My guess is that its an old sample and they copied and pasted the words together to form the speech; "boards" "of" and "canada". Or, they had a canadian friend say that into a microphone. |

The version from Boc Maxima is different - it sounds like a different woman's voice; it just says "so called obscenity case" without "censorship case"; and instead of "listening to Boards of Canada", it has "viewing an adult film". So I would guess that the sample originally came from some film talking about adult film censorship, and BoC had someone with a similar voice record the same speech with slightly different lyrics. |
