From http://www.rephlex.com/analord.html

Analord 07
lisbon acid
pitcard
afx acid 04

Nothing too exciting namingwise but I suppose this confirms
it will not be double 12" as some people have hoped. No
label art on replex.com yet.. Sorry for another Analord
thread but we love this really don't we

Analord 11

W32.Mydoom.AU@mm
VBS.Redlof.B
Backdoor.Ranky.S

Did we have these too?

Wonder what the delay was?

the track titles are pretty consistent up until 8 then they
are until 11 excluding 10, so maybe 8 on will be aphex twin?
silly naming 8,9,11 different to 10 though.

Maybe they hadn't decided on the tracks yet? They're
probably pressing these records as they go on, using money
from the previous releass in the series [wild speculation]

but they the tracklists for 8 - 11 have been?

I'm just basing my [wild speculation] on the rumour that 7
was going to be a double.. Maybe they decided it was not
possible for one reason or another and thus, the late
tracklisting

well now, this brings up another problem for some. I have
12 analord binder pages. I know some people have
eleven...so good and whatnot for you. maybe i can sell my
extra one on ebay for 200 bucks.

but i hope these releases keep coming after 11... so if they
do, where the hell do we get new binder pages damn it????

afx acid 04 ---04 for 2004? maybe analord 7 tracklist
came late because richard wanted to include a brand new
track.

i just want to know if you folks like the analord series soo
much as you talk about it here?

if boc or ae did a shitty album i would admit if...but then
again, some of you overrate analord like it's a new messiah
in the idm scene.

personally...don't take it personal guys, but i think rich
lost it's touch and he's rearrangig old tracks which were
sitting on his HD for ages.

offline Exaph from United Kingdom on 2005-03-16 04:53 [#01534926]
Points: 3718 Status: Lurker

have you heard analord 10? theres like a progression in the
releases you know? 1 is pretty basic - 5 is getting more
complex - 10 (aphex twin not afx) is insane!

rdj's ear for music and abilitiy with analog devices is
unpralleled and never will be. i think maybe you should
listen to all these releases a few times; theyre growers
too.

analords arent just emotionally lush, but technically too.
rdj is always uniqu and so is this series inc. the way its
been produced and released.

boc? every song sounds the frigin same.

i havent heard anyone overrate analord as well, if anything
its been quite a subdued response at times, theres been a
lot of hype (posts) but thats to be expected..

may have already been said but Voafose (Simmonds) and
Smojphace (AFX) have appeared on the same album before
(Redone Ep by Wagon Christ).

Maybe were in for some jazzy, noise and bass!

okay,i will take a listen to all of the released ones and
see what happens.
but hey...i find one thing silly...why is everyone so hyped
about richard and analogue?
a lot of artists use analogue gear, yet they don't get the
praise like rich does, cos he said he will use only
analogue.

i won't whine anymore...long live the 90's.

good man, just enjoy it. theres no way anyone loves all the
tracks but some are real nice, and they are growers (see
other thread for popular songs in the series that you may
want to start with, esp. anal 10).

rih has used analog gear since his teens, on which he made
his first album saw 85-92 so i guess he just loves the gear
and that comes through in his music. prolly as well cos
analogue is a warm and unique sound; and its a continous
waveform meaning that its kind of live, or never the same
twice, and its better quality as it isnt a sampled signal
etc. loads of reasons... blah

one of the most WANTED things from aphex from his fans was
for him to release a shitload of unreleased tracks from his
early days.

now he finally does it with analord and people are dissing
him for being unoriginal.

laffs

that's bullcrap. i haven't noticed anyone overhyping the
analords like that. and i spend most of my time here, so i
should know.

elusive: they aren't old.

This is a dumb discussion. Elusive is right though and it
happens a lot. We wanted to see rich do something different
so he did a noise album. Everyone complained. Then people
talked about old material. We are getting it in what appears
to be progression and now people are complaining.

I dont know. Perhaps people should just try to enjoy the
series for what it is, instead of nit picking it to death.

Plaster is right in a way but then again this was a
aphextwin.nu message board so most of us are dominately afx
fans.

ok i am going to make a sandwhich

aren't those virus name track titles just a load of
bullshit, anyway? i'm sure rich is laughing his ass off
right at this moment thinking of all those sad slsk wankers
downloading a plethora of
crap/viruses/knickknackery.mp3/etc...
