Is there any way I can stream all sound that is being played into my computer and any sound that is made internally on my computer out onto the webs? |

I've used something called Nicecast (for Mac OSX) and it's worked fine with streaming mp3... If you want to stream ogg you'll need to find something else. Sorry if this was not too helpful. |

no, not a radio. it's for collaboration purposes so that I don't have to carry my synth around all the time... I can't install stuff to the server itself, I think... |

Not sure if it's Mac only (Google helps in these things), but I meant the outgoing stream is in mp3. Mp3 is ok, depending on what kind of setup you use, if you have a lot of upstream bandwidth to use for streaming to listeners it's cool but if you're looking to serve a lot of listerners with limited bandwidth ogg will be better (provided that the listeners have the software needed) as the sound quality at low bitrates is A LOT better. You can have use any sound sources, in my case I used 2x1200s+mixer together with Traktor running on the machine serving the Nicecast stream. This was sent to an Icecast server that streamed it to users as well as translated it into an ogg stream. |

Analog X to the rescue! I believe the latter will be to your liking, first one was just in case shit... You could try Shoutcast as well. Be sure to check his MP3's and Studio setup list as well! TONS of other free and great programs for the taking too! |

I've been thinking about this lately as I've been hankering to do a live set from my bedroom. Let me know if anybody gets this working or has any info as I wont be able to try it until late tonight. |
