Its a higher quality vinyl which results in it being heavier
than normal vinyl.

Usually, yes. I've got some old German techno records
pressed onto extremely heavy (350 or 400 gram?) vinyl that
don't sound that great, but this is most likely to do with
mastering rather than the media.

Never seen vinyl that heavy again, supposedly it will be too
expensive to ship anywhere

vinyl is allways better quality than the cd, cause of the
cut ups on a cd.

I bet nobody here can hear the difference between a vinyl
and a cd recording.

yep, as it has been said, it doesn't need to be any special
vinyl to be better than cd.

I can and i would assume that anyone who listens to a ton of
music or works with sound alot can too.

Its like i can taste the difference in colas and beers as i
drink them often.

Someone who might not drink these beverages might not notice
subtle differences.

Same applies for music

an audiophile is someone who cares so meticulously about the
quality of a recording that they often don't even care
whether or not they can even hear the difference, just that
it is higher quality "in theory"
they buy things like this to achieve this
theoretical quality, when they should be spending that money
on something useful
