A few nights ago, I was lissening to radio 3, when suddenly
they played a jazz trio's interpretation of the aphex twin
track, Flim.

The band was The Bad Plus and apparently they have quite a
few covers under their belt.

You can download it from the site I linked to. Click the
Music button. You can also hear their version of Nirvana's
Smells Like Teen Spirit and Blondie's Heart of
Glass
. And even Holst's Neptune from his Planets'
Suite.

I got their album, actually... didn't know flim was on it
when I bought it, I had just heard some other stuff by
them... it's kind of like funky popjazz, and not too
good....

This band played on jools holland last series or the series
before. They're not bad, they played a song I really liked
actually, it was called And Here We Test Our Powers Of
Observation.

Well the clip was basically the introduction, rudster -
barely even a taste of the full track... which I would give
a 6.5/10 personally.
