it doesn't work no more, at least...

it´s ok I will avoid it because I know many people won´t
agree with me

well...when I listen to a mix I don´t wanna know what song
is coming up next, that way a mix will be spoiled for me

I've had this discussion many times before and now I know I
think very different about this matter, as far as I
understood people don't wanna waste their time and therefor
need to know the tracklist upfont, isn't it?

apperantly they take it down after a few downloads..

here it is again..

mp3

aesthetics, i don't need the tracklist upfront because i
first listen to it as a whole and then go through again for
particular songs i liked..

in that case, I guess I'll post mine with < sup > around so
that anyone that wants it (hah!) can copy and paste and
anyone else can just ignore.

[tolstoyed] sounds good

hmm.. I'm trying to upload the mix right now, but my line
keeps doing the fuckery, and it says it'll take 5 hours...

would anyone mind helping me out? I would like to see if
slsk has more luck transferring, and then maybe someone
could upload the file for me?

vlari - i like your electronic music selections a lot. some
good tunes in there. i see we picked the same bjork track
as well! :)

oh, and the uploading would be to my server, of course, it's
just that I think there is a difference between the ftp
upload and the thing slsk uses... the file breaks on the ftp
upload, and then I've got to start all over again, while
slsk has that ability to continue the file...

Awesome! I d/l your mix, but I didn't have the chance to
listen to it. I might have chosen a different Medúlla tune
if I had ;) Oh well, it's worth it.

I'm listening to tolstoyed's best of now, and it's an
excellent selection. There are many bands I'm going to check
out due to this. Next up is your mix.

fantastic so far. The Tom Waits track was fucking great. Not
looking forward to the Beastie Boys track though :(((

Excellent selection from you too. Good call on the Neurosis
track, infact I thouroughly enjoyed the whole grind/hardcore
section of your mix. I really like the Secret Chiefs 3 song
and I'm going to check that album asap.

that secret chiefs 3 album is actually really outstanding.

even better, imo. i love that album.

Your selection is awesome too. There are some artists that I
need to check, namely Midijokers, Menu Exit & Oculus.

This thread is an excellent way of discovering stuff that I
missed last year.

Here's my shizzle

I think I may have gone stuck on doing those "boomnewsong"
transitions, but yeah... I hope you'll enjoy!

I'm not really sure if ALL the tracks are 2004 (the esbjørn
svensson one is 2003, but they released one album in 2003
and one in 2005, and I felt they needed to be there)....

Tracklist (sub and sup'ed to please Aestethics):

00:00 Keiichi Suzuki - Zatoichi OST (track 07
07:16 Elektrofant - Slam Home
12:10 Esbjørn Svensson Trio - Did they ever tell consteau?
16:57 Kim Hiorthøy - Soliga Dagens Släppiga Trosor
20:26 The Roots - Why?
24:27 Stonxyblot Proxy - Stonxy Teeth Expo
28:19 RJD2 - Making Days Longer
31:28 Bertine Zetlitz - Broken
35:09 Side Brok - Nyst Droppa

true!

never heard mr. 76ix or kattoo before. i'm listening to
their albums and they're bloody awesome.

Oculus is a buddy of mine who just finished recording
engineering school and is working on music in Amsterdam now.
you can get most of his older stuff here:

Oculus link

he's been doing wicked live instrumental tracks lately.
nothing has been released yet though. but soon hopefully :)

Midijokers tracks you can download here:

cool mix! i especially enjoyed the first half. i noticed
the electronica-with-guitars theme - i guess a lot of this
came out last year, eh? what was the track with the crazy
squarepusher bass towards the beginning? i think that was
my favorite.

thanks!

Starts off pretty jazzy, going more into electronic and
ending up with some noisy stuff finishing all with a ambient
wonderpiece by deathprod.

Skyphone - Mengpaneel-nuhs
Jaga Jazzist - Jaga Ist Zu Hause
Bugge Wesseltoft - Oh Ye
Lars Horntvedt - News On The Mars (
Mari Boine - Gulan Du (Nils Petter Molvær & J)
Kim Hiorthøy - for the ladies - Untitled 8
Upland - Chi
Kim Hiorthøy - You Know The Score)
Martin Horntvedt - Comic
Strønen / Storløkken - Dance!
Maja S. K. Ratkje / Lasse Marhaug - Music for Loving
Deathprod - Dead people's things

here it is again
